Holly began her yoga practice in 2003. As a five times X Games Athlete & World Cup Skateboarding Champion, hot yoga helped her to heal injuries, clear her mind, and learn how to be more present. Through practicing breath work and mindfulness in her yoga asana class, she felt more powerful in all areas of her life.
Her practice was something she did for herself until she was asked to teach a beach yoga class in 2012. Holly felt comfortable doing sports and yoga but not public speaking. Even though she was really resistant, a friend convinced her to step up and just have fun with it. After teaching that day, she realized how passionate she was to teach and give the gift of yoga to others. Where there was a wall, a window opened in her mind.
In 2014, Holly became a Certified RYT, Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance and started teaching at Hot 8 Yoga, LA’S #1 Yoga Studio voted by LA Hot List multiple years in a row, and taught until 2020.
Yoga is such a powerful way to practice and transform ourselves on a daily basis. Holly’s intention is to give the gift of transformation to others, guiding people through their practice and creating a space that allows them to go into a deeper awareness of them self.
“No matter how different we may look or seem on the outside, we are connected through our spiritual selves or energy body. We are different colors of the same rainbow so to speak, of the infinite, exploring the breath of life together. We Are One!”
